Welcome to the year six class page; a place you can visit to find useful links and have a peek at what we are up to in class!

This term, we are busy consolidating our learning ready for the SATS examinations that begin on the eleventh of May while beginning our new writing topic of 'Words and Pictures'. In science, we are investigating light and this will also feed into our art work as we explore textures. Over the coming weeks, the children will be working on individual projects based on the geography of our local area- Hythe- becoming experts in a particular geographical feature. It is wonderful to watch the class become more independent as they move closer to their secondary school transitions.
