Headteacher's welcome

It is an absolute joy to lead such an exceptional school.

St Augustine's is set in the grounds of Brockhill Country Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty in Saltwood, every classroom enjoys spectacular views of the English Channel.

When you join St Augustine's, you become part of our school family, where every day we are inspired to be the very best version of ourselves: to be happy and kind to one another, to work hard and play hard and to be concerned about the world in which we live.

We have a strong academic record and St Augustine's pupils achieve so much more beyond the classroom. We have a curriculum that is built around character development and what it means to live a good life, drawing on Gospel values and inspirational people from all walks of life. We want our pupils to experience the best possible childhood - from developing an enquiring mind and asking big questions to climbing trees, developing their knowledge and skills across the curriculum and discovering themselves.

Primary education lasts a lifetime and paves the way for the brightest of futures, and we believe potential is limitless.

I do hope that this website gives you a glimpse into life at St Augustine's, but nothing beats seeing the school in action for yourself - the children absolutely love to show visitors our amazing school so do come and visit us in person.

Welcome to the family!

Nicola Clarke, Headteacher
